Back home, things had changed on the wooden boat market. It seems,
people didnīt fancy new, small one offs anymore. Instead, it was
big boats that were way beyond their lifespan, coming to the yards
for mostly cosmetic repairs. While before, you might have had
to work on timbers damged by warf borers, gribble or teredo larvae,
now it was the common earthworm I was removing from planks.
But was I a gardener?!
