This ship has recently been donated to our local Waldorf school by a kind business man.
Summer 2011 was the first season, we put her into service. She has been built in 1984,
but represents the typical fishing boat that was used 120 years before on our river.
With her heavy canvas sails, wrought iron fittings and traditional interior, she is 100%
authentic. The open fish hold makes her perfect for medium size groups,
while she's still less than 40 feet long. Her moderate draft enables us, to sail her
in creeks and across sands, which are numerous on this coast. While taking part in
any of the ship events around, she does not only enhance the picture, but by the nature of
her name, is open for all sorts of contacts.
