Caribbean

Our boat truly lived up to the reputation of Colin Archers designs. Despite her length of only 29 feet, she weathered all conditions. In the Caribbean there were plenty of spots, where boats were built and used in pure traditional manner. A whole fleet of sail driven fishing boats, for example, was moored at Carriacou. Cargo schooners were built for the interisland trade in the Windward Islands, a floating fruit- and vegetable market was providing Curacao with produce, Sand- and Conch fishing smacks being used in Belize. Often the boats were also used in local races.
